Why Clarity Matters to Building a Thriving Business

Without Losing Yourself

"I connected with you to get clarity about my niche.

And now my clarity is 100%."

– Edita

In the fifth episode of Beyond the Likes, I’m thrilled to sit down with my client Edita and celebrate her big win of finding clarity in her business niche and confidently stepping into her role as the go-to English coach for entrepreneurs.

When Edita first reached out to me:

  • She had read countless articles,

  • joined trainings,

  • and tested different strategies,

  • but one decision loomed over her like a cloud: should she niche her business?

To her, niching felt like saying no to opportunities, and that terrified her.

If you’re here, chances are you’ve felt the same: torn between the fear of missing out and the desire for focus.

Let me share what happened when Edita chose clarity over chaos — and how you can do the same.

Timestamps:

  • [01:45] Edita’s clarity breakthrough: “I connected with you to get clarity about my niche.”

  • [07:30] Overcoming the fear of saying no and letting go of distractions.

  • [12:15] How a mentor’s perspective can accelerate your growth.

  • [18:40] Raising prices with confidence and recognizing your value.

1. The Fear of Saying No

Edita’s hesitation to niche came from a place many of us know too well: the fear of turning people away.

Saying no felt like slamming doors shut.

But here’s the thing: when she finally defined her niche as "helping entrepreneurs use global English to expand their markets," something magical happened.

Her audience instantly understood her value. She was no longer just another English teacher; she was the go-to for entrepreneurs seeking a global edge.

So, reflect on what saying no might open up for you.

What’s the one thing you’re passionate about that could set you apart?

2. The Power of Outside Perspective

Edita admitted she needed someone to validate her thoughts and push her forward.

"You were the soundboard I needed," she told me.

Sometimes, the answers are already within us; we just need someone to hold up a mirror.

When you’re in the thick of it, it’s hard to see clearly.

Find your sounding board.

Whether it’s a mentor, a coach, or a friend who understands your goals, having an outside perspective can accelerate your journey.

3. Trust as the Foundation of Growth

Edita’s initial skepticism wasn’t unusual.

"There are so many people promising unrealistic results," she said.

Trust is a two-way street, and as entrepreneurs, it’s our job to build it through our content, services, and interactions.

For Edita, trust came through observing my genuine enthusiasm and support.

It reminded her that her own clients also needed to feel this trust before investing in her services.

Build trust by showing up consistently and authentically. Share your process, your results, and why you do what you do.

4. Valuing Your Work (Raising Prices)

When Edita decided to raise her prices, the real challenge wasn’t her clients; it was her own mindset.

Together, we reframed this.

Raising her prices wasn’t just about earning more; it was about respecting her expertise and the transformative value she delivered to her clients.

By focusing on the long-term impact of her work, Edita felt confident charging what she deserved.

Clarity isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s the foundation of a thriving, values-aligned business.

Like Edita, you already have the answers.

Sometimes, you just need a little push, a sounding board, or a reminder that it’s okay to ask for help.

So, what’s the one decision you’ve been putting off? Today could be the day you choose clarity over chaos.

Let’s make it happen.
